Trees affected by construction, root disturbance, soil compaction, restricted rooting conditions, or environmental stress often require more than a general recommendation.

DELA develops professional Tree Care Prescriptions that identify existing or anticipated tree impacts and provide specific measures to protect, stabilize, and improve long-term tree health.

Construction + Development

Tree Care Prescriptions can also be prepared when proposed grading, utilities, foundations, driveways, pools, retaining walls, or other improvements encroach into protected tree areas.

DELA evaluates the anticipated impact and develops practical measures to help reduce construction stress while allowing the project to move forward where conditions permit.

Prescriptions can be coordinated with Tree Protection Plans, site plans, construction documents, and municipal permitting requirements.

From Prescription to Implementation

When appropriate, DELA can also provide or coordinate implementation of prescribed treatments, including Air-Spade excavation, corrective root work, soil improvement, root-zone treatments, and tree protection measures.

This provides continuity from initial evaluation through corrective treatment and long-term tree preservation.
