Daniel Eginton Landscape Architecture is a multidisciplinary studio devoted to the thoughtful shaping of land, gardens, and outdoor environments. Our work integrates landscape architecture, planting design, and arboricultural consulting into a unified design practice grounded in ecological understanding, technical rigor, and craft.
Each project begins with close study of site conditions—soils, canopy, hydrology, topography, and patterns of use—and evolves through a collaborative, research-driven process. We design landscapes that are resilient, expressive, and enduring, guided by regional character and long-term stewardship.
We provide comprehensive landscape architectural services for residential, institutional, and civic environments. Our work includes master planning, site layout, circulation systems, grading and drainage strategies, and the integration of built and planted elements.
Design solutions balance spatial clarity with horticultural richness, organizing landscapes into coherent sequences of arrival, movement, gathering, and retreat.
Planting is central to our practice. We design layered, ecologically informed plant communities that evolve gracefully over time and support regional biodiversity.
Our planting work emphasizes:
We produce clear, detailed construction documents that translate design intent into buildable systems. Our drawings and specifications support efficient permitting, accurate pricing, and high-quality installation.
Deliverables may include:
We remain actively involved throughout construction to ensure design integrity and technical performance.
Services may include:
Our goal is to guide each project from concept through completion with consistency and care, including highly detailed hardscape development and a focus on plants.
We begin with a comprehensive evaluation of site conditions and client objectives. Early concepts establish spatial structure, planting strategy, and design direction.
Concepts are refined through detailed layouts, planting studies, and material selection. Systems are coordinated and technical feasibility is confirmed.
Final drawings and specifications are prepared for pricing, permitting, and construction.
We support implementation and guide long-term performance through ongoing consultation and site engagement.
Our studio works across a range of scales and contexts, including:
We believe great landscapes are not simply installed—they are cultivated over time. Our work is guided by long-term thinking, environmental responsibility, and respect for living systems.
Through careful design, technical expertise, and ongoing collaboration, we create landscapes that mature with grace and meaning.

Our arboricultural practice is rooted in careful observation, technical rigor, and long-term stewardship. Trees are approached as living structure—defining space, scale, and continuity—requiring both protection and thoughtful guidance as landscapes evolve. Each recommendation balances ecological health, public safety, and design intent, ensuring trees remain integral to the life of a place.
• Tree evaluations and prescriptions
• Tree protection planning and recompense analysis
• Comprehensive tree inventories and health assessments
• Risk identification with informed mitigation recommendations
• Tree preservation planning for renovation and construction sites
• Strategic canopy planning, including specimen placement, screening, and long-term growth.
Daniel Eginton Landscape Architecture is led by founder, Landscape Architect and Certified Arborist, Daniel Eginton who has established a reputation for conceiving and planning thoughtful, timeless landscapes since 1996. His years of field experience has spanned 35 years, including Walt Disney's Epcot Center where Daniel designed and maintained some world-renowned gardens. Daniel's education spans from the State University of New York to the University of Georgia's Environmental Design School where he earned his BLA.
While creating timeless gardens, Daniel and his team incorporate elements of natural stone, garden features, water and art with lush greenery, color and pollinators into each design. In most instances, Daniel believes plants can also be used to solve erosion and drainage problems as well to create barriers between harmful chemicals and pollutants adjacent to waterways.

This service is intentionally selective and reserved for projects in which planting is fundamental to the success of the landscape. It is offered where the character, performance, and long-term expression of the design depend on careful plant selection, precise placement, and informed field judgment.
Planting implementation may include:
• Plant procurement and coordination with specialty nurseries and growers
• On-site layout and staking in direct response to the planting design
• Installation of trees, shrubs, and perennials with attention to soil preparation and proper establishment
• Final garden composition adjustments in the field to refine spacing, balance, and seasonal expression
Hardscape construction is typically completed by a qualified landscape contractor or builder. When appropriate, we coordinate closely with the selected team to ensure planting is seamlessly integrated with completed site work and that the design intent is fully realized.
